I’m lookin’ for a shop that’ll give me a quote for repairing the roof and trunk lid on my car of the rubber gasketed holes (which were from police service), and possibly repaint it in the OEM Silver Birch Metallic paint.

Does anyone here on Oppo have any suggestions or recommendations?

Stay away from Kelly 1 is about all I can recommend.

Doesn’t help me find a shop though. I tried a few in Everett, but most of them either require me to set up an appointment for an estimate (what), and/or are only specialized in collision repair.

I’ve used https://www.showcasecollision.com/ several times over the years and have been happy with the results.

Stage Automotive does fantastic work. I’ve seen a few cars come through after full resprays and the work is phenomenal. Haven’t had anything done myself, but I have talked to the owner a few times while waiting for projects to finish at their sister shop (mechanic place). He’s a good guy. It’s worth checking out

Do they do restorations that are not involving accidents? The rubber gaskets on my car is on the roof .

Do they have a website?

It’s largely a repair shop, but they do some restoration stuff - I’ve seen some pretty neat rigs in there getting a new spray.

Okay. I’ll visit them this Friday after work to get a quote. Do they do walk-in estimates, or will I need to get an appointment? :P

Juanita Collision http://www.juanitacollision.com/

I detailed cars there when I was in high school.

So, no website. Alright. Thanks. Quite a few of these places you guys are recommending are located in Kirkland. Interesting.

That is pretty standard, I don’t do quotes for service in my field until I can do a visual inspection to look at what it entails, or else I throw out a pretty high number just to cover my base.
